Why Reflecting is Important
These posts are honestly some of my favorite to write. I’ve written two previous posts on similar topics, 10 End-of-Day Reflection Questions and 15 Morning Reflection Questions, and they’re my top two most popular posts.
And then I also have a more recent one with the end of the year rolling around, 21 End-of-Year Reflection Questions.
Even though I explain why reflection is important in all of these, I’m gonna reiterate myself in case you haven’t read those posts yet.
And if you haven’t, make sure you go do that right after this. :)
Reflection is important because we often don’t stop to think what we did wrong and how we could have done better. When we take time out of our day, week, month or year to think about the ways in which we could improve, we can do better going forward.
I think that reflection has been one of the biggest things in my life that has helped me to improve throughout the years. It’s important to think about the good things that happened and then also acknowledge the bad things, so we can try to have more of the good and less of the bad.
This has been another short post, but I really do think that little things like reflecting on your day, week, month, and year can make a big difference.
Especially as this year wraps up, start to think about new goals for the new year. Even though New Years is a popular time to set goals, you can set them any time, anywhere, so don’t let the time of year prevent you from setting new goals.
