Yep, I know the title is, “when you’ve barely slept,” but one of the best ways to have great energy is to actually sleep. When you don’t get enough sleep, you have a tendency to feel tired because, well, you need sleep.

Seriously, sleep is pretty much the most important thing you can do.
This is one I tend to struggle with more, but it really does have a profound impact on your energy levels, so especially if you don’t sleep much, really focus on this.
That being said, I have some non-sleep tips for you…
If you’ve ever gone on a run in the morning, you know it just makes your WHOLE DAY wayyyyyy better.
Somehow, not only do you have more energy, but you have more mental clarity and focus throughout the day, making you more productive. Also, it makes you really happy :)

Change Your Mindset
There’s no doubt (in my mind at least) that having a positive mindset lifts up your mood and your energy, and having a negative mindset does the opposite. A negative mindset can be really draining, which is why I like to make a deliberate effort to be extremely positive.
You can do this by
I listen to music pretty much every morning while getting ready for the day, working out, and on my way to school. It really gives me an energized start to the day.
Don't Say These Words
Don’t let yourself say it. It goes along with having a positive mindset. If you keep thinking “I’m tired,” then you’ll feel tired. For sure.
